Skills check
You will be invited to complete a Skills Check following your application submission, before enrolling to your studies. This helps you to decide if your course is right for you and allows us to understand your current abilities in English, Maths, as well as using Digital technology.
The recommended benchmark levels for this course are 4 in English, 4 in Maths and 4 in Digital Technology.
If you are applying for a VET Student Loan the required levels to meet academic eligibility, as outlined by Commonwealth guidelines, is Level 4 English and Maths.

Selection criteria
Entry into the:
Mainstream program is via direct entry and it is recommended that you have:
- completed a Certificate IV in Business, or another relevant qualification, and/or that you have experience in a range of work environments in the business industry;
- intermediate (Year 12 equivalent) literacy skills as study will involve a range of reading comprehension activities, report writing, and conducting and analysing research. Your written communication needs to be of a professional standard in presentation, structure, grammar, spelling and punctuation;
- basic computer skills that enable you to access resources online, send and receive emails and use a range of MS Office programs; and
- a range of study skills, self-motivation and reasonable independence to direct your study.
Traineeship pathway
To study a traineeship program you must be indentured as a trainee with your employer.
Employers need to be able to provide necessary human and physical resources to qualify for a trainee.
