A career in carpentry and joinery will see you working in either the residential and/or commercial sectors within the construction industry. Many carpenters and joiners find employment in housing and construction projects, civil engineering and maintainace roles. Carpenters and joiners can also choose to work for themselves as a subcontractor or small business owner.
