You will be invited to complete a Skills Check following your application submission, before enrolling to your studies. This helps you to decide if your course is right for you and allows us to understand your current abilities in English, Maths, as well as using Digital technology.
The recommended benchmark levels for this course are 3 in English, 3 in Maths and 3 in Digital Technology.

To enrol in this course, participants must be currently working in the automotive industry and have one of the following:
- a Certificate III in the Automotive Trade
- be in the 3rd year or higher of an apprenticeship
- have extensive experience in an Automotive Trade
Students must be trade qualified in an automotive or related industry area. Qualifications may include:
- AUR30320 - Auto Electrical
- AUR30620 - Auto Mechanical
- AUR31120 - Heavy Automotive
- MEM30205 - Diesel Fitting
