Take the guesswork out of finding an apprentice with TAFE Queensland's Find your Apprentice service. This free service will match you with applicants who are job-ready and keen to start an apprenticeship in your industry.
The best part is they've already completed pre-apprenticeship training through TAFE Queensland. That means your new apprentice will come with an existing skill set including essential occupational health and safety training. They'll also have a foundation level understanding of the job so you can rest assured they're as passionate about your industry as you are.

How it works
Register your interest
To take advantage of the free Find your Apprentice service simply register your interest. TAFE Queensland will then contact you to discuss what you and your business are looking for. Based on your business needs we'll put you in contact with suitable applicants, reach out to our teaching staff for recommendations, or advertise your position to our graduate talent pool.Sign the training contract
To organise the training contract you'll need to contact your preferred Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP). ANPs are a free service that provide advice and support to employers who are looking at hiring an apprentice.Choose your training provider
Once you've signed the training contract, and chosen TAFE Queensland as your training provider, we will be notified by your chosen ANP and will contact you within 48 hours to organise an onsite or phone induction.Start training
Training can start in as little as two weeks after the induction, or we can commence the training based on what works for you and your apprentice.
